Morgan and Charlie (The player character) have been dear friends since high school. While they lost touch for a few years while Morgan hit difficult times, resulting in them having to care for their sister, Effie, while their father was regularly away working. From the age of 16 Morgan began working to support their family, with the dream of one day making enough to care for Effie and their Father when he can no longer work.

When Morgan heard of Slime Café, they jumped at the chance to get a decent paying job at somewhere they loved - having entered a drink making competition and winning only a year prior. The job was for 2 people however, so Morgan decided to get in touch with and old friend and reconnect once again.
